Creating a web site that is accessible for as many people as possible is challenging, but it can become easier when we know what questions to ask and how to adequately test our web applications for accessibility. In this talk, I walk you through my process for developing accessible web applications with a real world example of an accessible component that I built for our company website. With this real world example, we will be able to investigate certain questions, including: * What user groups do I need to consider for web accessibility? * How can I test a web application for each of these groups? * What tricks can I use to ensure that my code is accessible for groups who have conflicting needs?
